An exhibition of works by students from all over Croatia has opened at the school in Rovišće

As part of the Erasmus + KA1 project Equal: Everybody’s Quest Until All Learn, funded by a grant from the European Union, Rovišće Elementary School has announced an art competition "Equal is our whim, equality is not a whim". 49 works by primary school students from all over Croatia were submitted to the art competition. Student works were selected and evaluated by an expert committee taking into account cognitive, artistic-expressive and creative possibilities with regard to age, and the starting point for judgment was achieved originality, artistic-technical performance and application of given art problems. Reflecting on equality in all aspects of society, students showed new insights and ideas for artistic creation through their artwork. Exploring the different possibilities of the creative process and focusing on the visual interpretation of the topic, the students expressed their views on gender equality. The art competition ended with the opening of an exhibition of submitted works, which was held in May at the Cultural Center Rovišće when awards were given to students and mentors. Among the winners are: 1st place: Martina Kosar, 7th grade, mentor Dijana Pertunaj, IV. Bjelovar Primary School; 2nd place: Nika Turk, 6th grade, mentor Koraljka Boršić Sanković, Elementary School "Dr. Andrija Mohorovičić ”, Matulji; 3rd place: group work of students Marija Jozak and Barbara Penić, 7th grade, mentor Dragica Antolović, Tituš Brezovački Elementary School, Zagreb.
